Each part of this series will explore ways Instructors can evaluate and develop teams for competition. Each part in the series will include explorations at each of the following: NW1-3, Elite, and Summit – so there will something for everyone in each Part! We will look at identifying key dog and handler skills needed at the different trial levels, and assessing separately where a dog and handler are in their own individual developments and in their development as a team. Included will be exercises to bolster those skills for a dog, then for a handler and assessing when individuals and teams are ready for next stage of development.
