Meet the Education Team

Alecia’s passion for dogs started at a very early age. Her hope was to develop a dictionary of dog language. Over 20 dogs have been a part of her family. Each helping her learn more about their “language”. K9 Nose Work has brought her the closest to this goal.

Alecia began teaching K9 Nose Work in 2010 and gained her Certified Nose Work Instructor certification in 2011. Magic, her reactive Australian Shepherd, led the way to understanding the power of the nose. With the umbrella of Nose Work Magic, over 3000 dogs were introduced to the values of K9 Nose Work.

Though her life’s career has always involved teaching people, teaching K9 Nose Work brings together her love of dogs with teaching people. What could be better than bringing people and their dogs closer together.
