Meet the Education Team

Kyoko Johnson is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed and a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner. She owns and operates Country Canine LLC on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, and provides dog training and behavior services, as well as K9 Nose Work® classes. Kyoko was first exposed to K9 Nose Work® through a seminar taught by the co-founders at an APDT conference in 2010. Since then she has hosted various NACSW workshops, ORTs and trials, and has certified as an instructor.

In addition to teaching nose work, Kyoko has been training and handling detection dogs for wildlife conservation since 2012. She is the founder and lead K9 trainer and instructor for non-profit organization Conservation Dogs of Hawaii.
