What is an expert witness, and is it work that I might be interested in? Expert witness work in our legal system is a unique, challenging and fascinating line of work. What is involved and is it work that I might want to do?

Jill is an expert witness in dogs, dog bites and behavior, and will discuss the work, what it entails, aspects you need to know, and how to get started.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

Jill Kessler-Miller has been doing expert witness work in dogs since 2004. She is a certified trainer, a behavior consultant, an AKC Scent Work judge, and has been active in Nose Work since 2011, starting with Jill-Marie O’Brien and Ron Gaunt. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA and a Master of Science degree in Justice Studies from San Jose State University. Jill has titled her Rottweilers in Schutzhund, Obedience, Barn Hunt, Agility, Rally, Scent Work, and of course, Nose Work. She is working on her videos to submit to finish her Certified Nose Work Instructor certification.
